Lenz is thrilled to once again serve as the presenting sponsor of the Amplify Decatur Music Festival–a beloved, multi-day celebration of music and community happening April 25–27.

Hosted in the heart of downtown Decatur, the festival does more than bring incredible live performances to the stage–it raises vital funds and awareness for local organizations working to combat homelessness and poverty in our community. All proceeds from the weekend will benefit Decatur Cooperative Ministry and the Decatur Education Foundation.

This year’s festival promises a packed lineup of can’t-miss moments:

  • Friday, April 25 – Enjoy free pop-up performances across local Decatur restaurants, capped off by a ticketed show at the Avon Theater in Avondale Estates.
  • Saturday, April 26 – The main event! From 5 to 11 p.m., downtown Decatur Square will come alive with free live music and festival vibes. There will also be free pop-up stages at local participating restaurants from 3-5 p.m., including O’Sullivan’s, Brick Store Pub, Marlay House, The Reading Room, and Trackside Tavern.
  • Sunday, April 27 – The weekend wraps at the iconic Eddie’s Attic with “The Bad Bitches of Country,” a powerhouse tribute to legendary women of country music, featuring stellar local and regional acts.

And it all starts with a Boy Band sing-along pre-party at O’Sullivan’s Pub on the night of Thursday, April 24.

Amplify My Community leverages the universal love of music to fight poverty at the local level. Since its inception, Amplify has produced over 150 concerts and donated more than $625,000 to nonprofits serving people experiencing poverty and homelessness, including $385,000 right here in Decatur.

Lenz is honored to stand alongside Amplify in this mission, offering the full suite of marketing services– from branding and PR to advertising, social media, and website support.

Amplify was founded in 2011 by Lenz President Mike Killeen. Lenz Vice President Christine Mahin is Amplify Decatur’s festival director. They serve on the board alongside Lenz media director Rachel Cushing. Jon Waterhouse, Lenz’s media relations manager, will emcee the event again this year and the 2025 festival poster was created by Lenz art director Stephen Laciensky. Additionally, several members of the Lenz team, including Annice Wyatt, Frank Robertson, and Emily Giordano serve as volunteer captains for the event.

We hope you’ll join us for this unforgettable weekend of music, community, and purpose. For more info on the 2025 Amplify Decatur Music Festival, visit amplifydecatur.org!
