Lenz-Designed Poster Appears in Feature Film
Lenz recently worked with the producers of Dear Santa, starring Jack Black, to design and print a custom version of its 2023 Atlanta Science Festival promotional poster for use in the film’s production design.
In the film, set in Atlanta and released in November on Paramount+ and other digital platforms, the poster is showcased on the bedroom wall of main character Liam Turner, played by Robert Timothy Smith.
Lenz Creative Director Scott Sanders concepted and designed the poster, which features the Atlanta Science Festival mascot – ALEX (Atlanta’s Lead EXplorer) a pink cartoon astronaut – floating above a colorful Atlanta skyline, “Wish you were here” ribboned script, and a “Celebrating 10 Years of Science” stamp. The poster can be seen in multiple Dear Santa scenes.
Dear Santa is summarized in its official IMDB listing as follows: “When a young boy mails his Christmas wish list to Santa with one crucial spelling error, a devilish Jack Black arrives to wreak havoc on the holidays.”
