Lenz recently developed a Pollen Count and Mold Reporting App for Atlanta Allergy & Asthma, the largest allergy practice in Georgia.
The app, developed by Lenz Engineering Director Ricky Pattillo, lives on atlantaallergy.com and provides daily allergen metrics on pollen counts (trees, grass, and weeds) and mold activity to help individuals in the region properly manage their symptoms.
Lenz has been integral to Atlanta Allergy & Asthma’s pollen count distribution for a decade, creating and maintaining automated distribution channels including the website, newsletters, and an API for use by other systems. Entering, storing, and generating reports on the data had been the domain of an in-house desktop app the practice created. The new web-based app takes over those tasks and improves integration with the distribution system.
Atlanta Allergy & Asthma, the largest allergy practice in Georgia, has been the premier provider of quality care and research in the field of allergy, asthma, and immunology since 1972. The practice’s board certified allergists and specially trained advanced practitioners are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of nasal allergies, asthma, food allergies, skin allergies, drug allergies, sinusitis, and immune disorders. Atlanta Allergy & Asthma is the only National Allergy Bureau certified pollen counting station in the Atlanta area.
