Behind the scenes at Lenz, music remains a passion and an inspiration for all involved. From the agency’s work with the Amplify Decatur Music Festival to eclectic employee playlists, there’s rhythm behind the company’s approach to marketing.

Of course, the soundtrack continues outside the office as well. Lenz media relations manager, Jon Waterhouse, recently had the opportunity to explore his love for both music and writing when he interviewed Grammy-winning duo Robert Plant and Alison Krauss for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Plant, the legendary lead vocalist for Led Zeppelin, and Krauss, a bluegrass icon, were promoting their appearance at the Outlaw Music Festival, which landed at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre at Encore Park in late June. It was there they were part of an all-star lineup including Bob Dylan and Lukas Nelson, the latter filling in for his father Willie Nelson, who was unable to perform.

“If you think about my heritage as a singer through the years,” Plant said during the interview, “this is such a great place to be and to precede Bob Dylan, all his magical words and his rough and rowdy ways is just something I’m beside myself with. For me, I’m just part of the audience. I think I’m in a great, blessed position to be alongside my partner here and teaming up with these people who’ve had such remarkable and incredibly impressive periods in our consciousness.”
