The multi-functional space is also outfitted with an elaborate audiovisual setup, making it ideal for both client presentations and company events.

Things have been pretty exciting around Lenz lately. The company is growing by leaps and bounds, gaining new clients and bringing on new talent. Lenz has also recently expanded its offices on the Downtown Decatur Square––taking on the additional space formerly known as the Vinson Gallery on the ground floor of the Lenz building.

“I think the personality of this company really shows through the look of the new space,” said Richard Lenz, President and CEO. “It’s a little quirky, maybe a little off the wall, and very creative.”

The space was first introduced during the 2009 AJC Decatur Book Festival, when it was used as the Lenz Author and Media Hospitality Suite. Day-to-day, however, it is known as the newly renovated Lenz Creative Department. The former gallery has been renovated into a beautiful, creative environment, allowing the graphics team to focus on the work they do that makes the company tick.

“We at Lenz envisioned an art oasis, a design sanctuary that served as a shrine dedicated to creative expression,” said Scott Sanders, Lenz’s Creative Director. “We built a collaborative space where we can mold a new reality, closer to the heart.”

An image of Ernest Hemingway hangs on the back wall of the space, welcoming visitors to Lenz. Magnetic display panels showcase recent artwork from the Lenz creative team. A cozy area with couches, tables, brightly colored rugs, and bookshelves serves as a reception area or impromptu meeting space. The multi-functional space is also outfitted with an elaborate audiovisual setup, making it ideal for both client presentations and company events.

“It’s an honor and a privilege to pass on the renowned Vinson Gallery space to my good friends at Lenz,” said Shawn Vinson, previous occupant of the gallery. “The changes Lenz has made to what is now their creative offices are fantastic, edgy, and colorful, and I’m very happy the space remains in the hands of the art community.”

“We’re excited about this expansion and all that it will allow us to do,” said Lenz. “The new space has come together beautifully. It’s been great being able to show it off.”
